Shadows.com is a new service. More of a community oriented search destination site where relevance is driven by text/link analysis. We rely on people for information as our filter. Users create their own collection of favorite sites with descriptive tags. Users can rate websites to show others in the community how they really feel. Also, through the downloadable toolbar button, you’re on a page, drilling down on topic, click one button and Shadows.com provides you with a lot of information that other poeple have found very valuable.
Individuals are tagging pages as they browse the web. We give you information about what the community found valuable. Our monetization strategy is around paid search.
We have a people powered approach. Results are powered by users’ individual views and collective actions. For people who want to participate in the community, they can sign up and get a profile. People can rate you and your comments.
