comScore Media Metrix reported today that comparison shopping continues to be a strong growth area on the web. Unique visitors to comparison shopping sites increased 7% in July (48.8m unique users in June compared to 52.1m unique users in July).

You won’t see me highlight unique users for each of the comparison engines on this blog. Unique users are just one metric to look at and tell us nothing about click-through rate or conversion rate on the sites.
