A couple of quick updates on Pronto.
1 – Pronto now supports FireFox…
2 – Pronto updated its homepage highlighting that the company is part of the IAC family. Pronto.com now prominently displays sister sites like Ask.com, CitySearch, and Match.com. Probably smart not listing the ugly step-sisters Smiley Central and other Fun Web Products (which are sometimes difficult to uninstall). I wonder when we’ll see ads for Pronto show up on IAC properties…oops, missed this yesterday, Pronto shows up at the bottom of most IAC sites along with other IAC properties:
3 – Pronto is hiring. 8 positions listed on the site including Online Acquisition/Media Buyer, Director of Sales, and Client Services Manager. Reading through job listings is always a great way to see what a company is working on…
I haven’t taken a close look at Pronto since the beta launch, but I’ll check it out again in the next couple weeks. I have to say that I’ve been impressed with the Pronto team…I’m excited to see how these guys move forward.
