		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m wondering if there&#039;s a way to organize retailer data that does not require retailers actually doing the gruntwork in getting listed in these engines.  In the same way that Google crawls the web for information, I would think that Froogle, et al could devise a way to crawl online retailers (and of course the corresponding website for brick and mortar stores) for product listings.  Eliminating retailer feeds/uploading would really propel shopping engines forward.

I recently posted a scenario that makes light of this issue, but I think it&#039;s going to need some serious attention if shopping engines want to remain relevant.
