I’m considering using LunarPages to host my new data feed management and submission service. Seems to be highly rated.
Has anyone used them? Any other recommendations for dedicated hosting?
Thanks!

for windows i like canadian company Alentus (www.alentus.com). For unix MediaTemple (mediatemple.net), Rackspace (rackspace.com) or HostMySite (hostmysite.com – they have a live 24×7 chat which is darn handy).
Comparison shopping in a space like hosting which pays high affiliate commission (i.e. above $100 for a ded. host customer) is a dicey proposition. There are very few unbiased sources.
Take a look at webhostingtalk.com they have great unbiased counsels, and a simple search will give you some customers reviews…
I’m not in the hsoting biz – I’m responding to this because your blogs (this + the vertical search one) are packed with interesting insights, and I feel if I can repay in a teensy way by pointing you at a fab hosting service it’s the least I can do.
We use Hyve.com for our 2 dedicated unix boxes. When we were looking they were v competitively priced, their sales people are coherent and responsive (the only ones when that actually answered the questions I asked them instead of throwing reams of boilerplate at me), and their tech support people are fabulously responsive and proactive, whatever the issue.
