SingleFeed Beta ‘Soft’ Launch Announcement
So today is the day. SingleFeed Beta is now publicly available. I’m calling this a ’soft’ launch in that the design isn’t up and running, we’re not cross-browser functional (IE only), and there’s no big press release going out through PRWeb.
However, SingleFeed Beta works; fill out a single feed (called the SingleFeed!), we’ll check it for errors, walk you though how to correct the errors, and then we’ll submit and automatically re-submit your approved products to the engines you activate.
We’ll make significant improvements to the UI and add a good amount of functionality over the next couple months, but this is THE time to get up and running on the shopping comparison engines for the holiday shopping season. At the very least, all merchants should be creating a feed for submission to Google Base.
October/November Pricing:
-Google Base Submission (which automatically gets the merchant on Froogle and possibly Google itself) for $4.99 per month. No set up fee. No commissions. Just $4.99/month.
-Deluxe Submission to Google Base plus any or all of the other 7 shopping comparison engines SingleFeed supports (Shopzilla, PriceGrabber, Yahoo! Shopping, NexTag, Shopping.com, Become, Smarter.com) for $99.99 per month plus a one-time $29.99 set up fee. No commissions.
Regular Pricing (starting in December):
-Google Base Submission (which automatically gets the merchant on Froogle and possibly Google itself) for $9.99 per month. No set up fee. No commissions. Just $9.99/month.
-Deluxe Submission to Google Base plus any or all of the other 7 shopping comparison engines SingleFeed supports (Shopzilla, PriceGrabber, Yahoo! Shopping, NexTag, Shopping.com, Become, Smarter.com) for $129.99 per month plus a one-time $29.99 set up fee. No commissions.
As an incentive for signing up for the Deluxe Submission service, we’ve negotiated special free click offers for all merchants who sign up for the first time with Shopzilla, Smarter.com, PriceGrabber, and Become. These free clicks represent more than $140 in savings which means the Deluxe Submission service pays for itself.
The Beta release of SingleFeed does not work in Firefox and has a number of limitations in terms of reporting and analytics. These issues will be addressed over the next couple months and a new design will be implemented before the end of October.
That’s it. Go to SingleFeed. Let me know what you think.
