Amazon Might not be Working With Google Base Store Connector

According to 2 posters in Google’s Google Base Help Discussion Forum, Amazon sent an email that it is ‘stopping the feed for Store Connector.’

Haven’t spoken to anyone at Base or Amazon about this yet, so I have no more details.

If you’ve been following my posts on Google Base, you’ll know that I think these automated feeds represent a poor solution for merchants.

Brian, please tell us what you feel is the best way to get our products into Amazon. I know that they take a hefty percentage but they simply cannot be ignored as an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to e-commerce and data feeds.

I feel like they get no recognition as a CSE whenever people talk on the subject. There is just too much traffic on Amazon to ignore it. I have made some attempts (fairly weak ones by my own admission) at getting into Amazon and have found the experience very confusing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Google connector have know issues.
It does not work for most of my os sites.

The manual upload could solve most of the issue.

It doesn’t work at all with the shop connector. Take it up with amazon if you want it changed, it was done by their request =/
