Based on my experience to date, Shopping.com is not servicing existing merchants very well either.

I opened a merchant account with Shopping.com over 2 years ago but never attempted to use it until Nov. 3rd. That day, I followed Shopping.com instructions to the letter but the products are still not online. I’ve filed a series of trouble tickets but have only received generic answers that have not led to a resolution.

Next week will make a month of waiting. If this is not resolved by then, I’m done. I mean; honestly, a month’s just too long.

Shopping.com sent me an interesting and very welcome email a few days ago – a week after I completely shut off my accounts with them due to poor traffic. It appears they are going to take the revshare route to entice those that have damned their service to return. Yeah, you heard right. Now, instead of shelling out 20% on spend, I will be paying just a few points on each order, no transaction fees, AND eBay Express listing.

Well, they’ve re-earned my business. No matter how terrible I think they are in their own spectrum, I can’t deny a good deal when I see one.
