Who is behind ComparisonEngines.com?
ComparisonEngines.com is run by Brian Smith. Brian has held marketing and business development positions at many internet companies over the last 10 years including Cendant, TheStreet.com, and VarsityGroup. He has also consulted for fast growing start-ups such as FierceMarkets, MyFamily, and LogoWorks. Brian is the shopping and vertical search correspondent for the Danny Sullivan’s Search Engine Watch.

What is ComparisonEngines.com?
ComparisonEngines is the guide to the world of shopping comparison engines. Through interviews with key players, guest commentary, case studies, analysis of news and events, and comparisons of features, readers will gain an in depth understanding of comparison engines, a rapidly growing online marketing channel.

ComparisonEngines.com is a free service and Brian is not paid by the shopping comparison engines. In fact, Brian is not paid by anyone. There are no ads on ComparisonEngines.com.

Business Model?
Brian developed SingleFeed, a simple, self-service data feed management and submission company which helps small and medium sized merchants market through the shopping comparison engines. Brian also recently launched LoveYourFeed which helps all merchants understand how to achieve better results through the shopping comparison engines.

Education: Brian graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Economics (although his PoliSci and History classes kept him sane). He also studied improvisation and sketch comedy at the Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles and is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG).
